Question 1

Nobody here is going to use this

Accepted Answer

One person uses the app — you. The rest install nothing: a message arrives in Telegram, where they already are, with two buttons. What lands on their phone is visible right now in the live example.

Question 2

I already have three apps. I cannot take a fourth

Accepted Answer

It does not become a fourth — it replaces three. A calendar only knows time, notes never remind, a chat buries things. And you will not retype anything: your calendar connects by a link.

Question 3

We tried this. The board, the shared calendar, the chat — all of it lasted two weeks

Accepted Answer

All three died for the same reason: they wait to be looked at. None of them calls out by itself, and none of them calls out to anyone but you. Here the reminder goes to whoever has to do it, when it is time.

Question 4

You will never get the rest of them in there

Accepted Answer

Nobody has to go anywhere. The message arrives — “19:00, take out the bins” — with a Done button. That is exactly what they ask for when they say “just tell me what to do” — only it is not you saying it, and not for the twentieth time.

Question 5

The kids will never tick anything off

Accepted Answer

Done work earns points, points turn into rewards and pocket money. A parent sees it and approves. They tick because there is something in it for them, not out of obedience.

Question 6

What if not everyone here uses Telegram?

Accepted Answer

Then Nidalumi runs in their browser: the same service in full, it installs on the phone and on the computer and does all the same things. One difference: Telegram knocks on the door by itself, while a page waits to be opened — their tasks and reminders are in the bell when they come in. Whoever needs the reminder to catch them needs the bot too.
